The Big Bird Classic was established in 2006 as a memorable tribute to a good friend, Rob Schuele, who was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed duck and pheasant hunting along with BIG wine. The event is an annual pheasant hunt, wine and charity event that realizes Rob’s vision and provides scholarship opportunities to college-bound students. Join us in November in Metamora.
Join us October 10 as your day begins with lunch, served in the Club House at Hunters Creek. Your hunting experience includes a European Tower Shoot and your choice of a Field Walk-Up or Sporting Clays. When the hunting is over, Stonebridge Farms, right down the road from Hunters Creek, is the back-drop for an evening of wine tasting, cigars, food and fellowship.
Hunting licenses are not required at Hunters Creek. Each shooter is required to have hearing and eye protection & hunters orange. Shotgun shells are NOT provided, but are available for purchase. It is recommended to have 4 boxes for the tower shoot and 2 boxes for either the Field Walk-up or Sporting Clays. Shotguns are available for rental if necessary on a FCFS basis.
